The
technique of desalination of sea water using solar
energy has been created by Chile since 1872. As
of now, the process of desalination are distillation,
freeze and R.O. reverse. But the methods above
were not able to create drinkable water because
of inability to separate salt from the sea water.
The Peng-Hu in Taiwan, which uses desalinator
by the above method, needs to add additional
fresh water of 3 : 7 ratio to create drinkable
water. The water that is desalinate from boat has the problem
in creating drinkable water. Thus, the water can
not be used for a long period of time.
